The Columba Lectionary for Masses with Children seeks to make the Liturgy of the Word alive and meaningful for children, their parents and teachers, and for all those who attend parish family Masses and school Masses. This Lectionary adheres to the liturgical norms of the church as set out in the General Instruction on the Roman Missal and in the Directory for Masses with Children. The Good News translation of the scriptures is used by the approval of the Liturgy Commission of the Irish Episcopal Conference. It is very suitable for use at family and school Masses.
