Synopsis of NOOMA DVDs 1-4
 
Each NOOMA DVD focuses on specific faith topic and these NOOMA DVDs are each given a short title. The NOOMA titles are all interesting; however, they are not really descriptive of what each NOOMA DVD is about. Therefore, it is necessary to give a short synopsis of each of the NOOMA DVDs.

NOOMA DVD #1
 
This NOOMA DVD looks at how oftentimes in life things don't go the way that we planned and we are left at a loss. We are going through our day to day lives and then all of a sudden out of nowhere comes some huge form of pain which can leave us fraught and weak. However, we know that is just how life works. Yet, we are still left wondering about God's role in all of these things. How can God just sit by and let us suffer? Where is God when we are really hurting? Maybe God is nearer than we realize. Maybe these situations, of complete helplessness and distress, are the exact times when God reminds us how much God really loves us.

NOOMA DVD #2
 

I love that car! Really? In the same way that I love my family? What is going on with the word “love”? It has started to lose a lot of its meaning because we use it really freely. Maybe people in the present age don't understand what real love is. What it really takes to love someone. What it actually means to give of yourself for someone else. We often mistake other things like friendship, lust, or commitment for love. However, these things are all very different from what real love is. This NOOMA DVD explores why it is important for us to find out what God means by “love” and to use this definition in our lives.

This NOOMA DVD looks at the purpose of our lives. We want to know if our lives are really important and if our religious experience is actually relevant to our current life. We want to understand the meaning of how each day, month, and year is significant to our lives and what kind of an impact this has on our world. We want a God that cares about the current time and is present in our lives right now. We want to understand the meaning behind everything we do, our friendships, our work, and our interactions with others. We want to know if the decisions we make today are actually affecting the future and if they will affect our eternal lives. We strive to give our lives significance today, but we also want our lives to be significant forever, and t hat is what #3 NOOMA DVD is all about.

NOOMA DVD #4- Sunday

This NOOMA DVD explores why we act in the way that we do. Why do we go to church and pray? Do we do it because we think God wants us to? Do we do religious practices because we want to please God or because we want to look good in the eyes of others? We need to stop simply doing rituals without having any real faith behind them. God is tired of heartless people who follow the law simply for the sake of the law. God wants us to love God and love others will all of our hearts.
